A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a "blank check" shell that raises money in an IPO to later merge with a private business — Finnovate Acquisition Corp. was founded in 2021 to buy an Israeli fintech firm. Its name blends "financial" and "innovate," but it instead merged with Scage International, a Nanjing-based maker of zero-emission heavy trucks like the "Dragon King" dump truck and "Andromeda" semi-tractor. After that 2025 deal, the combined company began trading on Nasdaq as Scage Future.
