Grab Holdings Limited
A Southeast Asian "super app" that lets people hail rides, order food and groceries, and pay for things all from one phone. Its GrabFood and GrabPay services are used by millions across dozens of countries in the region. It began in 2012 as a taxi-booking app called MyTeksi, born from a Harvard Business School project by classmates Anthony Tan and Tan Hooi Ling. In 2016 it rebranded to Grab as it grew beyond rides — a name meant to signal quickly snagging a ride or service.
