Jaws Mustang Acquisition Corp

A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a "blank check" firm with no products or operations of its own, created to raise money and merge with an existing business. Founded in 2020 by billionaire investor Barry Sternlicht, founder of Starwood Capital Group, and based in Miami Beach, Florida, it is one of a stable of similarly named SPACs backed by Sternlicht's family office, JAWS Estates Capital. The "Mustang" in its name comes from its sponsor, Mustang Sponsor LLC.
