Medicus Sciences Acquisition Corp.
A blank-check company, also called a SPAC, formed in 2020 to raise money to buy a healthcare business. It had no products of its own; instead it aimed to merge with a medical technology, biotech, or device company. Led by healthcare investors Jacob Gottlieb and Dr. Michael Castor, it went public in early 2021 but never closed a deal and wound down in February 2023, returning its funds to shareholders.
