Meli Kaszek Pioneer Corp

A special purpose acquisition company, or "blank check" firm, created in 2021 by the founders of Latin American e-commerce giant MercadoLibre and the venture capital firm Kaszek to buy a technology business in the region. Its name blends MELI (MercadoLibre's ticker) with Kaszek, and "Pioneer" honors founders who helped build the region's tech scene. After hunting for a deal across e-commerce, fintech, and healthcare, it dissolved and liquidated in 2023 without completing an acquisition.
