New Vista Acquisition Corp
A "blank check" company — a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) that raises money on the stock market with the sole job of buying or merging with another business. New Vista, founded in 2020 and based in Chicago, was set up to hunt for a technology company in fields like space, defense, and advanced air mobility, and it was led by Dennis Muilenburg, the former CEO of Boeing. The name "New Vista" was chosen to suggest a look toward the next horizon of technology, fitting a firm run by a man who once spearheaded Boeing's innovation efforts. It never found a deal and wound down in early 2023.
SPAC unit consisting of one share of Class A common stock and one-third of one redeemable warrant — Liquidated February 2023
