Panacea Acquisition Corp. II
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a shell company that raises money from investors to later buy or merge with a private business — sponsored by the biotech investment firm EcoR1 Capital. It was created to find a biotechnology company to take public, but never completed a deal and was liquidated in 2023, returning investors' money. Its name comes from Greek mythology: Panacea was the goddess of universal health and remedy, daughter of Asclepius, the god of medicine.
