Population Health Investment Co., Inc.
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a "blank check" firm with no products of its own — formed to raise money and buy a private healthcare business to take public. Founded in 2020 by Dr. Clive Meanwell, the founder of The Medicines Company, and Ian Read, the former CEO of Pfizer, it aimed to target the therapeutics sector. The company never completed a merger and was ultimately liquidated.
