Soaring Eagle Acquisition Corp
A special-purpose acquisition company, or SPAC — a "blank check" firm with no operations of its own, created to raise money and merge with a private business to take it public. Founded in 2020 by investors Harry Sloan, Jeff Sagansky, and Eli Baker, it raised capital and in 2021 merged with Ginkgo Bioworks, a biotech company, then took its name. It was one of a string of SPACs named with "Eagle" by the same trio, joining Diamond, Silver, and Flying Eagle before it.
