Spree Acquisition Corp. 1 Limited
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC — a "blank check" firm formed to merge with or buy another business. Spree Acquisition Corp. 1 was set up in 2021 to target companies in mobility-related technology, led by transportation industry insiders, and went public on the New York Stock Exchange. Its name nods to the "mobility" focus behind its acquisition strategy, and it once agreed to combine with zTrip, a tech-based taxi and ride fleet, though that deal fell through.
