Tcv Acquisition Corp
A special-purpose acquisition company, or SPAC — a "blank check" company with no business of its own, created to raise money and merge with a private tech firm to take it public. It was founded in 2021 by Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), the Menlo Park growth-equity firm behind many well-known software and internet investments, and it traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker TCVA. After failing to find a merger target in time, it announced in March 2023 that it would liquidate and return its money to shareholders.
