African Agriculture Holdings Inc.
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, that raised money to buy a private tech business and take it public. Backed by the New York investment firm 10X Capital, it listed on the stock market in 2021 and later combined with African Agriculture, a firm bringing cattle ranching and farming to Senegal. Its name comes from the Silicon Valley idea of a "10x" breakthrough — building things ten times better than the standard. The firm's founder, Hans Thomas, also launched an earlier SPAC that took electric-vehicle maker REE Automotive public.
Class A ordinary shares — Merged with African Agriculture Holdings Inc. on Dec 6, 2023; became AAGR (CUSIP 00792J100); delisted from NASDAQ in Sept 2024
