Thoma Bravo Advantage
A "blank-check" company (a type of SPAC) created by the private-equity firm Thoma Bravo to raise money on the stock market and buy a software business. It went public in 2021, then merged with ironSource, a platform that helps mobile app and game developers make money through in-app advertising. What began as a shell meant only to find a tech target ended up launching ironSource onto the public markets.
