Vy Global Growth
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a "blank check" firm with no business of its own, created to raise money and merge with a private tech, financial, or business-services company to take it public — Vy Global Growth was founded in 2020 by the investment firm Vy Capital and listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker VYGG. The twist: it never found a merger partner, so in 2022 it redeemed its shares, wound down, and delisted — a SPAC that went out the way it came in, returning the money it had raised.
