A British maker of jet engines and power systems, whose Trent and Pearl engine families power widebody airliners like the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 for airlines around the world, and whose engines also run on many military and marine craft. It was born from a 1904 meeting between engineer Henry Royce and car dealer and aviation pioneer Charles Rolls, who agreed to put both their names on Royce's cars.
