Aggreko Plc

A company that rents out portable power generators, chillers and temperature-control gear, letting everything from film shoots and festivals to hospitals and factories keep running when the grid can't cope. It was founded in the Netherlands in 1962, its name coming from the Dutch word for power, and later made Glasgow, Scotland its home. It's a familiar name behind the scenes at big sporting events, supplying the electricity and cooling that keep broadcasts and stadiums running.
