Bbcn Bancorp Inc

A Los Angeles-based bank holding company built to serve the Korean American community. BBCN was formed in 2011 by merging Nara Bank and Center Financial, and the name simply spelled out "Business Bank of Center and Nara." In 2016 it merged with rival Wilshire Bancorp and was rebranded Bank of Hope, becoming one of the largest Korean American banks in the country.
