Taikisha Ltd
A Japanese engineering firm that designs and builds the giant paint-finishing plants used by automakers, plus heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems for offices, factories, and cleanrooms. Founded in 1913 in Tokyo as Kenzaisha, it took the name Taikisha in 1973 — from "taiki," the Japanese word for atmosphere — to signal its mission of making the air clean again during an era of heavy air pollution in Japan.
