Yamabiko Corp
A Japanese maker of outdoor power equipment, Yamabiko builds the chainsaws, brushcutters, trimmers and blowers that landscapers, foresters and homeowners use under the ECHO, Shindaiwa and Kioritz brands. It was born in 2008 from the merger of Kioritz and Shindaiwa, two long-running manufacturers with roots back to the 1940s. Its name means "mountain echo," a nod to the yōkai spirit said to answer voices in deep mountain valleys.
