A South Korean confectionery maker behind the beloved Choco Pie — a chocolate-coated snack cake with marshmallow filling that launched in 1974 after a company researcher tasted similar American treats on a trip to Georgia. Founded in 1956 as Dongyang Confectionery and renamed Orion in 2003, the company also produces Market O brownies and Turtle Chips, and is one of the country's largest snack makers.
