Queen'S Gambit Growth Capital
A special purpose acquisition company, or "blank check" firm, that raised money from public investors and used it to take a private business public. It was notable as the first SPAC founded and led entirely by women, and it merged with the Dubai-based ride-hailing app Swvl in 2022. It took its name from the famous chess opening and the hit Netflix series about a young female chess prodigy, which both debuted around the same time.
Ordinary Shares (Class A) — Acquired by Swvl via SPAC merger on March 31, 2022. Combined company trades as SWVL on NASDAQ.
