Tio Tech A

A blank-check company, or special purpose acquisition company, based in Berlin that was created to raise money and merge with a private European technology business to take it public. It was founded in 2021 by Dominik Richter, the creator of meal-kit giant HelloFresh, and entrepreneur Roman Kirsch. The name "Tio" is Spanish for "uncle" — and in casual Spanish, a slang word for "dude" or "mate."
