A maker of identity-security software that helps organizations lock down their most powerful computer accounts. Its flagship product, the Privileged Access Manager, stores and guards the admin credentials that IT staff and software use to control critical systems, and its tools are trusted by businesses and government agencies worldwide. Founded in 1999 in Israel by childhood friends Alon Cohen and Udi Mokady, the company got its name from Noah's Ark — a nod to building one secure "vessel" to protect all the keys to the kingdom. Cohen was inspired to start the firm after a hacker broke into his own computer and leaked his private correspondence.
