A Mexican agribusiness and one of the world's largest poultry producers, Bachoco raises, processes, and sells chicken and table eggs, plus pork and other proteins, that end up on dinner tables across Mexico and beyond. It began in 1952 when the four Robinson Bours brothers started with just a thousand laying hens on a small Sonora farm. The name comes from the Yaqui language, meaning "where the water passes through."
