Magnum Ice Cream Co N.v.
A maker of the famous Magnum ice cream bars—vanilla ice cream on a stick with a thick chocolate shell—one of the world's best-known frozen treats, sold under the Unilever umbrella. It was invented in the late 1980s by Mogens Vigh-Larsen, technical director of the Danish ice cream maker Frisko in Aarhus, who wanted a premium treat aimed at adults. Its name comes from the Latin for "great," and its signature "crack" when you bite in came from a chocolate coating engineered to stay solid even at very low temperatures.
