Ayala Corp

A holding company and one of the oldest and largest conglomerates in the Philippines, Ayala Corp spans real estate (through Ayala Land), banking (Bank of the Philippine Islands), and telecommunications. It began in 1834 as a trading house called Casa Roxas, founded by Domingo Roxas and Antonio de Ayala, whose name the firm later adopted. The company's landholdings grew into the Makati financial district, where Ayala Avenue now runs through the heart of Manila's business hub.
