Broadscale Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, formed in 2020 to raise money and merge with a private business focused on decarbonization and sustainable solutions across energy, transportation, buildings, and food. It was set up by Andrew Shapiro, founder of the investment firm Broadscale Group, whose "Disruption for Good" philosophy shaped the company's mission. The company went public in 2021 and agreed to merge with Voltus, a clean-energy software firm, but the deal fell through in 2022.
