Northern Star Investment Corp IV
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC—a shell company created to find a business to merge with—that focused on direct-to-consumer and digitally-disruptive e-commerce brands. It was founded in 2020 by media executive Joanna Coles and Jonathan Ledecky, co-owner of the New York Islanders hockey team, the same pair whose earlier SPAC merged with BarkBox. The company was delisted from the New York Stock Exchange in 2023 after it failed to complete a merger.
