Capital Product Partners L.p.

A shipping company that hauls energy across the oceans, Capital Product Partners started in 2007 as a Greek tanker owner carrying crude oil and chemicals, and grew through a 2011 merger with Crude Carriers Corp. In 2024 it rebranded as Capital Clean Energy Carriers, pivoting its fleet toward modern LNG carriers and vessels that carry ammonia and liquid CO2 — the gases of a cleaner energy era. The name change doubled as a corporate makeover, converting the firm from a master limited partnership into a traditional corporation.
