A Philippine holding company that owns a sprawling collection of everyday businesses, from Philippine National Bank to Asia Brewery's beers and bottled water. It grew out of a wine merchant founded in 1937 and was renamed in 2012 after its founder, tycoon Lucio Tan — the "LT" in its name. Its Tanduay Distillers arm traces back to an 1854 distillery and is counted among the world's largest rum producers.
