Teekay Tankers Ltd.

A carrier of crude oil and refined petroleum products, Teekay Tankers operates a fleet of mid-sized Suezmax, Aframax, and LR2 tankers that move energy for oil majors, national oil companies, and refiners around the world. The name comes from the initials T.K. of founder Torben Karlshoej, a Danish shipbroker who started the parent Teekay Shipping Group in New York in 1973; the tanker arm was spun out by Teekay Corporation in 2007.
