A network of technology-focused websites that helps IT professionals research products and helps tech vendors find buyers. Founded in 1999 as a spin-off of United Communications Group, it runs hundreds of topic-specific sites — including WhatIs.com, a dictionary of technical terms — and tracks what IT buyers are researching to connect them with sellers. In 2024 it merged with Informa's tech division to become Informa TechTarget.
