Versar Inc.

A project management and professional services firm that helps government agencies and industrial clients with engineering, construction oversight, environmental consulting, and security work — including projects for the U.S. military and the Environmental Protection Agency. Founded in 1969 in Springfield, Virginia, it grew from a small technical consulting firm into a global contractor. Its name has no official meaning, though it is sometimes mistaken for the Spanish verb "versar," meaning "to deal with" a subject.
