Ruckus Wireless, Inc.

A maker of high-performance Wi-Fi gear, Ruckus Wireless builds the access points, switches, and management software that keep crowded places—stadiums, hotels, hospitals, and universities—connected. It started in 2002 as SCEOS (short for Sequoia Capital Entertainment Operating System) before co-founders Bill Kish and Victor Shtrom renamed it Ruckus, a slang word for a noisy commotion, to signal their plan to shake up the sleepy networking industry.
