Eurobank S.a.
A Greek banking group offering everyday banking, loans, corporate finance, and wealth management to individuals and businesses across Greece and several other European countries. It began in 1990 in Athens as Euromerchant Bank, launched by the Latsis shipping family, and grew through a 2000 merger with Ergasias Bank — whose name comes from the Greek word for "work," signaling a bank for the active economy. Today it operates under the Eurobank name.
