Blackstone Secured Lending Fund
A business development company and private credit fund that lends money to U.S. middle-market companies that don't qualify for traditional bank loans or public debt, mainly through first-lien secured loans where it's first in line to be repaid. It was formed in 2018 as a Delaware trust and is managed by Blackstone, the giant investment firm. Its name simply signals that it's the lending arm of Blackstone — the "secured" part refers to its focus on loans backed by collateral.
