Admiral Group Plc

A British car insurer that also sells home, pet, and travel cover, Admiral Group is one of the UK's biggest motor insurers and the parent of the price-comparison site comparethemarket. It was founded in Cardiff in 1993 by two INSEAD classmates, Henry Engelhardt and David Stevens, who started with a few dozen staff. The name was picked partly so the company would appear near the top of alphabetical phone directories like the Yellow Pages.
