Catcher Technology Co., Ltd.
A Taiwanese maker of the light metal casings and frames that house electronics, Catcher Technology produces precision bodies for phones, laptops, and tablets — including unibody shells for iPhones and MacBooks. It began in 1984 as a humble sheet-metal plant in Tainan that stamped housings for electric fan motors before pioneering magnesium die-casting for notebook computers. Today it is one of the world's largest suppliers of these metal enclosures, using magnesium casting, aluminum extrusion, and CNC machining.
