Tim S.a.
A major Brazilian telecommunications provider, TIM Brasil sells mobile phone, internet, and fixed-line services to everyday Brazilians across the country. The company grew out of the mobile division of Italy's Telecom Italia, and its name is simply an acronym for Telecom Italia Mobile, carried over when it began operating in Brazil in 1998. A memorable milestone: in 2002 it became the first mobile operator to offer service in all Brazilian states.
