Caris Life Sciences, Inc.
A precision-medicine company that decodes tumors to help doctors choose cancer treatments. Its laboratory tests, sold under the Caris Molecular Intelligence and MI Cancer Seek brand, analyze the DNA, RNA, and proteins of a patient's tumor to match it with therapies. Founder David Halbert launched the company in 2008, inspired by his mother's cancer battle, and built it around the Molecular Profiling Institute he had purchased in Irving, Texas, where it remains headquartered.
