Alpha Tau Medical Ltd.

A maker of a novel cancer treatment called Alpha DaRT, Alpha Tau Medical places tiny radioactive seeds directly inside solid tumors to deliver a concentrated burst of alpha radiation that destroys cancer cells while sparing nearby healthy tissue. The Israeli company, founded in Jerusalem, grew out of academic research and is named for the alpha particles at the heart of its therapy. Alpha DaRT is now being studied around the world as a potential option for skin, head-and-neck, and pancreatic cancers.
