Mynaric AG
A German maker of laser communication terminals that let satellites, aircraft and drones beam data to each other using light instead of radio waves, through products like the CONDOR line for space and HAWK for airborne use. It was founded in 2009 by former researchers from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and first traded as ViaLight Communications. The company rebranded as Mynaric in 2017, and a NASA fact sheet notes its technology also appears in the historic Laser Communications Relay Demonstration, beaming data at record speeds from orbit.
