Isrotel Ltd
An Israeli hotel operator whose name blends "Israel" and "hotel," Isrotel runs resort and city hotels across Eilat, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea and the Galilee. The chain was founded in 1980 by British businessman David Lewis, who was drawn to Eilat's seaside climate, and opened its first property, the King Solomon Hotel in Eilat, in 1984. Today its brands range from family resorts to the luxury Royal Beach collection, and the name itself is a playful mashup of the country and what the company does.
