Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP

An operator of a vast network of natural gas and natural gas liquids pipelines and underground storage caverns across the American South, moving fuel from producing fields to utilities and other customers. Its roots reach back to Texas Gas Transmission, founded in 1947, whose assets Loews Corporation acquired and later consolidated under the Boardwalk name in 2005. The name was simply a fresh brand identity when Loews — a conglomerate better known for insurance and tobacco — bundled its energy holdings together.
