A Swedish maker of advanced stainless steels, special alloys, and titanium, Alleima supplies tubing and heating elements to the energy, aerospace, and medical industries. It was born in 2022 when the Sandvik Group spun off its materials-technology arm, and its name blends "alloy" and "material." Its Kanthal heating brand dates to 1931, when engineer Hans von Kantzow named it after himself and his hometown, Hallstahammar.
