Chargepoint Holdings, Inc.
A maker of electric-vehicle charging stations and the cloud software that runs them, ChargePoint operates one of the world's largest EV charging networks, with charging ports across North America and Europe used by drivers, businesses, and fleets. It was founded in 2007 as Coulomb Technologies, named for the French physicist who discovered the law of electrostatic force, before rebranding to ChargePoint in 2012. Its current name nods to its mission of building an intelligent, connected network of charging points for drivers everywhere.
