A Swedish industrial technology company based in Stockholm, Hexagon builds the sensors, software, and measurement tools used to make things accurately — from cars and smartphones to aircraft. It took the geometric name Hexagon (Greek for "six corners") during a 1990s restructuring, though its roots run deeper: the Leica Geosystems arm traces back to 1819 and built the first truly portable surveying theodolite. Its precision-measuring tech helps produce many of the world's cars and phones.
