Mazor Robotics Ltd.
A maker of robotic guidance systems that help surgeons perform precise spine operations, using a patient's CT scans to build a 3D surgical plan and then guiding instruments to exact spots. Founded in 2001 by a Technion robotics professor and a medical-tech executive, the Israeli company's name comes from the Hebrew word for "remedy." Its Renaissance system and later Mazor X platforms were used in hospitals worldwide before Medtronic acquired the company in 2018.
