Geely Automobile Holdings Limited
A Chinese carmaker that began in 1986 when founder Li Shufu started making refrigerator parts in Zhejiang, later moving to motorcycles and then cars in 1997. Its name, Geely, means "lucky" or "auspicious" in Chinese. Today it builds SUVs, sedans, and electric vehicles under brands including Geely, Zeekr, Lynk & Co, and Volvo, which it bought from Ford in 2010.
