Byd Co Ltd

A Chinese maker of electric cars, buses and rechargeable batteries, best known for its BYD Atto and Han EV models sold across dozens of countries. Founder Wang Chuanfu started the firm in 1995 making phone batteries, later expanding into autos, and its name is a play on "Build Your Dreams." The company also builds solar panels and even supplies the batteries used in some of the world's best-known smartphones.
